Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?

Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level designer now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize. With working with us, you can choose to request a project or a monthly retainer inquiry when you are ready.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

Once booked as a client, you're able to add as many design requests to your queue as you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.

How long will it take to build my website on Webflow?

Most website builds take 2-4 weeks to complete. Some websites may take longer depending on the size of the website and the responsiveness of clients.

With that said, we typically have a pretty fast turnaround for projects. An average project takes around ~3 weeks.

Can I host my Webflow website anywhere?

We highly recommend that you host your website through Webflow's AWS system if you wish to gain access to all the powerful CMS and hosting features that Webflow has to offer. All hosting plans include automatic backups, version control, SEO management, new features as they are released, and security updates. Hosting your website on Webflow removes the requirement for monthly maintenance retainers that are usually associated with platforms such as Wordpress.

What is Webflow?

Webflow is a platform that allows designers (like us) to develop beautiful and bespoke websites much quicker than traditional methods. As we design a website, the code is automatically written at the same time. This means your website is built quicker and cheaper.

Is Webflow better than WordPress?

We've got nothing against WordPress! For super-focused functionality and advanced requirements it's a great platform. That said, WordPress relies on plugins to make things work, which in turn can make the website really slow and sluggish. This isn't great for user experience or SEO.

These plugins then must be kept up to date meaning WordPress requires a lot of maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.

Webflow doesn't need plugins because everything is built from scratch from within Webflow itself. This means Webflow performs faster than most WordPress sites leading to better user experience and greater SEO performance.

So unless you need something super advanced that Webflow can't do (which is rare!), 99% of websites will be better off being built in Webflow for it's superior performance, SEO and 100% customization.

Is Webflow good for SEO?

Webflow is amazing for SEO. Right out of the box, it uses the same hosting setup as huge companies such as Dropbox and Gusto making it super reliable and super fast.

Speed plays an important part in user experience and SEO as search engines pay a lot of attention to how long pages take to load.

SEO is built into Webflow meaning there are no special SEO plugins required. Editing alt tags, page titles, meta descriptions and everything else you would expect is super easy.

What is the Webflow CMS like?

So easy! As a user you won't need to write a single line of code!

Not only can you add and edit content in the traditional CMS way of filling out fields, uploading imagery, that sort of thing, but there's also the 'visual editor'.

What this does is allows you to edit text and imagery in real time, visually. This allows you to see exactly what a page will look like before you publish it!

What's not included?

Your domain name. If you've already got one, then great! If not we're happy to advise on the best place to get one.

Do you outsource any work?

Nope. Never. Everything is 100% done in-house.

Where exactly are you located?

In the USA! The HQ and team resides in Seattle, Washington.

How do I get started?

Schedule a call and chat about your project.

What are the payment terms?

We require 50% of the total project cost upfront as a downpayment, and the remainder on the final review of the website before it is launched and the domain is pointed.

How much input do I have?

Website design is a collaborative process, and we will ask for your ideas, feedback, and approval throughout all stages of the project. Some clients don't have a preference or would prefer us to have complete creative direction with their project, which we're more than happy to do. In these cases, we dive in and research your niche to create your design.

Who writes the content for my website site?

You do. No one knows your business better than you! Our specialty is taking that content and weaving it perfectly into your website. However, if you need content provided for your site, let us know and we can guide you in the right direction and/or add-on copy services to your package.

How long will my design last in terms of relevancy?

We design all of our sites with a focus on longevity and flexibility, with the ability to expand and update the website as your business grows and changes. The typical industry 'standard' is to update your website every 1-5 years, but we are happy to partner with our clients to create long-lasting sites that are easy to refresh.

Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?

Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.
